Dai Chunning, former deputy general manager of China Export and Credit Insurance Corp (CECIC), has been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) for suspected “serious” violations, Beijing Times reported Friday.
Dai is said to have embezzled a huge amount of public funds in collusion with some other people, seeking gains for companies or individuals by taking advantage of his position, and taking bribes, the report said, citing the party’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).
Other charges include adultery, it said.
The CCDI has transferred the case to judicial departments, according to the report.
Dai worked as assistant to the president of China Import and Export Bank before joining CECIC as general manager in April 2012.
