There’s nothing wrong with the picture and no need to change the angle.
The man does have a disproportionately large right forearm — an eye-popping 46 centimeters around its girth. That’s more than twice the size for a bodybuilder and more than four times that for an average man.
But Matthias Schlitte did not get to those humongous proportions by accident. Neither was he born with them. His other arm is as average as it gets.
The 25-year-old German developed those muscles as an arm wrestler, honing them and bulking them up as he went from one competition to another since he was 16.
In the process, he has won eight German championships and 14 international titles in the past decade, according to Britain’s Daily Mirror.
Among his conquests was a crushing victory over a specially designed arm wrestling robot, proving flesh trumps metal in their, well, hardest forms.
Matthias, it appears, is a gentle giant, but who would want to step up against him?
