Is it a bird? A plane? No, it’s a sky restaurant

How would you like to dine in the sky?

Four Seasons Hotel in Shanghai’s Pudong has unveiled its latest food and beverage outlet which allows diners to take a breathtaking view of the metropolis 50 meters above the ground.

The new “sky restaurant” offers a maximum of 22 seats for customers to seat around a long dining table that is lifted off the ground by a crane. The customers are fastened securely to their seats before they are elevated.

Manned by a chef and waiters, the restaurant has a special design that prevents birds or the rain from disrupting your dinner.

The restaurant is open for eight hours, allowing customers enough time to fully absorb the experience. The meals cost from 1,800 yuan (US$290) to 8,888 yuan per person.

The sky restaurant is movable, allowing diners to enjoy their meals in a handful of places, including a beach, a park or even while watching a concert or a sport event, the report said.

Just don’t ask where’s the toilet.
