Serial attacker blames ‘unfair society’ in China

Linzhou city in China’s Henan province can finally see its young damsels breathe easy.

A “psycho” motorcyclist who had caused huge panic in the last two months by launching a spate of attacks on local girls has surrendered to authorities this week.

The person, a 22-year-old male, turned himself in early Tuesday after the police began to zero in on his identity, mainland media reported.

He is said to have confessed that he attacked 10 young women from late April to late June.

And what was the reason for the attacks?  Apparently, a deep resentment of the fairer sex for having rejected him as a boyfriend!

“I have an inferiority complex about myself. All the girls look down on me,” he was quoted as saying in a China News Service report Thursday.

Friends had introduced him to five girls at various times in the past, but none of them became his girlfriend, the report said.

The youth, who was brought up by his widowed mother, has been working as an assistant to a chef at a local restaurant and taking home a monthly pay of 1,000 yuan.

“Society is unfair. I envy the happiness of all other people,” he is said to have muttered.
