Germany crush Brazil hopes of home soil World Cup win

Brazil football fans were left stunned and horrified as a near whitewash by Germany knocked the home side out of the World Cup Tuesday.

Spectators inside in the Mineirao Stadium in Belo Horizonte booed off the Brazil team after they lost 7-1 to the tourists, the biggest defeat in a World Cup semifinal and Brazil’s worst defeat in their history, according to the Daily Mail.

It looked all over after Joachim Loew’s team booted five goals in the first half-hour. Oscar secured Brazil’s only goal in second-half injury time, Xinhua reported.
