CLSA’s investor forum is nothing if not headline grabbing.
And headlining it’s next edition will be Arnold Schwarzenegger, the celebrated actor, athlete and politician.
Now Schwarzenegger needs no introduction but the investment firm said he will, in a conversation with CLSA clients over lunch on September 17, “share his unique story and personal anecdotes of the events that have shaped his formidable rise to fame from Austrian emigrant to the 38th governor of California”.
With such star pulling power, the 21st CLSA Investors’ Forum, to be held in Hong Kong from September 15 to 19, is expected to see more than 1,500 institutional investors from 30 countries and more than 300 senior executives from 200 listed companies.
Its past keynote speakers have included, among others, Bill Clinton, Henry Kissinger, Lee Kuan Yew, Sarah Palin and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Schwarzenegger was in Macau last week for a VIP screening of The Expendables 3.
He previously visited Hong Kong in 1998 and 2005. So it’s been quite awhile.
“Hasta la vista, baby.”
