Hong Kong’s Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) is offering consultation services on the upkeep and management of collectibles.
The service is available to participants in the Hong Kong Museum Festival scheduled for June 27 to July 12.
It will be offered to collectors of photos, coins, stamps, old literature, calligraphy and paintings.
Organizers are considering opening the venues overnight to boost visitor traffic after similar arrangements in its successful dinosaur exhibit two years ago.
LCSD manages 14 museums and five exhibition venues.
Last year, it recorded a record attendance of 6.52 million visitors.
The department is seeking HK$616 million (US$79.43 million) from the government to renovate four of its permanent halls.
