Fire raged across a kindergarten in southeastern China, injuring dozens of children.
Witnesses said they saw several teachers smash windows and drop children to the waiting arms of rescuers.
One said some of the children were visibly terrified while others were tossed out unconscious.
The fire started at an underground flower shop and quickly spread to the second floor of the building where 300 children were attending classes.
All were rescued but 92 were sent to hospital for smoke inhalation, according to Apple Daily.
The incident took place in Juchi Plaza in Ningde city, which borders Fuzhou, capital of southeastern China’s Fujian province.
The blaze, which began at about 11 a.m., was put out by midday.
Altogether, 104 people were hospitalized.
