An argument over lane switching turned violent when a taxi driver started smashing his rival’s vehicle with a car jack.
One of the men was injured during the altercation and took off, presumably to seek treatment, but not before the other got a good shot at him on his smartphone camera, Apple Daily reports.
A 30-second video of the incident taken by an unnamed witness has gone viral on social media.
It shows two men arguing in Ferry Street in Yau Ma Tei.
One of them, shown with a bloodied face, walks to his car and returns with a car jack.
He pounds the other taxi on the driver’s window with the object repeatedly, sending shards of glass flying in all directions, and returns to his taxi.
The other driver gets out of his vehicle and approaches the attacker but backs off when he sees his car roll, having forgotten to engage the hand brake.
