Media magnate Rupert Murdoch and model Jerry Hall are getting married.
Their engagement was announced in the the births, marriages and deaths section of The Times of London, which Murdoch’s News Corporation owns.
The two got engaged over the weekend in Los Angeles, a spokesman said. They appeared together at the 73rd Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday.
“They have loved these past months together, are thrilled to be getting married and excited about their future,” the New York Times quoted the spokesman, Steven Rubenstein, as saying in an email.
It will be the fourth marriage for Murdoch, 84, and the second for Hall, 59.
Murdoch split up with his third wife, Wendi Deng, in 2013 after 14 years. He was previously married to Patricia Booker, a flight attendant from Australia, and later to Glasgow-born journalist Anna Torv, the BBC reported.
Hall married Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger in a Hindu ceremony in Bali, but their marriage was annulled in 1999.
Murdoch and Hall started dating last year after they were introduced by one of his sisters and a niece in Australia, according to The Times. They went public with their relationship in October.
The couple have 10 children between them, the announcement said.
