Who doesn’t know Paul McCartney?
Apparently, the bouncer at Argyle in Hollywood didn’t.
Sir Paul, along with 2014 Grammy rock album of the year winner Beck and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, went to the exclusive bar and nightclub on Monday night to join the Grammy after-party hosted by rapper Tyga.
However, he was denied entry — twice!
As to be expected, the former Beatles member was flabbergasted.
“How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit, guys,” celebrity news website TMZ quoted McCartney as saying as he and his friends were made to stand and wait outside.
Tyga said he didn’t know McCartney was there. Defensively, he tweeted: “Why would I deny @PaulMcCartney stop it. He’s a legend.”
He also said he didn’t control who got into his party. “I just performed and left.”
McCartney and company remained in good spirits and decided to go instead to Republic Records’ bash at Hyde.
