Who has been messing up our country parks?

Some people have been thrashing country parks, leaving behind everything from mahjong tiles and Bitcoins to men’s briefs and demand notes.

Garbage piles up on weekends when visitors peak and the sheer volume is alarming, environmental group The Green Earth said in a Facebook post.

Director Chu Hon-keung posted pictures of the unusual items left behind by visitors.

“To see these objects at home would be perfectly normal,” Chu said.

“It was just beyond me why these are here in a country park.”

There were also empty bottles, boxes, batteries, tires, tissue paper packaging and fruit peeling.

Some netizens estimated the Bitcoins to be worth tens of thousands of dollars but others said these are likely to be fake.
