South Asian man held in assault on Tsim Sha Tsui shop owner

A man has been arrested for alleged assault on a Tsim Sha Tsui shop owner.

His accomplice is at large, Headline Daily reports.

The suspects, described by police as South Asian, allegedly attacked the owner of a mobile phone accessories shop in Chungking Mansions in June.

No items were taken from the shop and investigators said the incident might have been over money.

The 41-year-old shop owner said he had no idea why the suspects went after him.

Investigations by the Yau Tsim Police District are continuing.
