Some mainland tourists have been lining their pockets with fake candies stolen from a Donald Duck display in Shanghai Disneyland.
The incident came to light after a Weibo user criticized the visitors for their unruly behavior, Apple Daily reports.
In one week, the Donald Duck prop holding a basket full of candies was robbed and the poor Disney character can only be seen with an empty barrel.
In fact, the candies were only foam with colorful wrappings.
Some visitors said they took the decorations because their children loved them, according to thepaper.cn.
Netizens were so enraged they said the candies should be replaced with chilli.
Others lambasted the parents for failing to set a good example for the children.
They said if the Donald Duck prop was not too big to move, it would probably be gone, too.
