South Asian woman raped in Chungking Mansions

A 39-year-old woman of South Asian ethnicity was reportedly raped inside a unit in Chungking Mansions in Tsim Sha Tsui in the early hours of Sunday.

Police said a 22-year-old man reported an assault, saying a compatriot had been sexually attacked at around 3 a.m. Sunday, Headline Daily reports.

When police officers arrived at the unit, the woman said she was raped and the rapist had left. She was subsequently taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment, according to hk01.com.

Police are looking for a man in his early thirties, about 1.8 meter tall. He was wearing a white top and blue jeans.
