When Julia Louis-Dreyfus won the Emmy award for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for a third year in a row, it was no surprise, but how she accepted it was.
When walking up to the stage to accept her award for Veep, Bryan Cranston grabbed her and went in for a kiss — and not just a little peck, either, The Huffington Post reported Monday.
The mustachioed Cranston kissed her passionately.
The steamy kiss lasted for several seconds and the pair had to be pulled apart by presenter Jimmy Fallon.
Emmy for best and longest TV kiss ever? Yes!
The two presented an award together earlier in the night and joked about Cranston’s supporting role on Seinfeld way back in the day.
Seinfeld fans will recall that long before Cranston was Walter White on Breaking Bad, he played dentist Tim Whatley and dated Louis-Dreyfus’ character Elaine.
If Walter White wants a kiss, he gets it.
Louis-Dreyfus took home her fifth career Emmy this year, a third consecutive best actress in a comedy win for her role in Veep. She previously won Emmys for Seinfeld and The New Adventures of Old Christine.
