Naked man sends MTR staff into a tizzy

A naked man was found wandering at a commuter train station in Hong Kong early Monday, sending the station staff into a tizzy as the morning rush was about to begin.
The incident took place at MTR's Lam Tin station at around 6.50 am when passengers spotted a fully unclothed man on the premises and alerted the station authorities, Apple Daily reported.
Some MTR workers immediately grabbed a towel and made their way to the man and urged him to cover up.
But the man, said to be a 46-year-old bearing the surname Chan, ignored the calls and continued walking, according to the report.
He later darted into a train coach, with the station staff in "escort" and continuing their futile efforts to have the man wrap a towel around his waist.
Chan is said to have got off at Yau Tong to take another train heading toward North Point. At the North Point station, he wandered for a while before taking another train to LOHAS Park on the Tseung Kwan O line, according to the report.
The whole naked journey is said to have lasted around 40 minutes.
Authorities later sent Chan, who is believed to have a history of mental illness, to a hospital.
An MTR spokesperson was quoted as saying that the incident did not affect the morning train services.
