Swire Coca-Cola HK and The Coca-Cola Company make joint donation
Swire Coca-Cola HK announced today that, in a stepped-up effort to support the community in getting through this unprecedented epidemic challenge, it has joined hands with The Coca-Cola Company to donate more than 500,000 units of beverages to the people in need and the dedicated healthcare workers in the community. The joint donation includes 26,000 cases of mineralized water, 1,000 cases of vitamin water and around 2,000 cases of coffee, energy drinks and assorted beverages for people being quarantined at various isolation facilities, patients and frontline healthcare workers at hospitals, as well as the underprivileged who are receiving donated meals from social enterprises.
The latest donation is part of the company’s on-going support to help the local community fight against the COVID-19 pandemic which has been affecting the city for two years. Since 2020, Swire Coca-Cola HK has made donation, valued at more than HK$6 million, to people in need in Hong Kong.
The company said it will continue to pay close attention to the latest development, take follow-up actions depending on the pandemic, and actively support the fight against the COVID-19 coronavirus.
