Woman hurt after rare BMW motorcycle spins out of control

A woman suffered minor injuries after she lost control of her BMW motorcycle, reportedly a rare model inspired by the wartime German military tricyle.

The 35-year-old woman, surnamed Tang, was the only person in the vehicle.

Tang was traveling in tandem with the motorcycle’s registered owner, surnamed Chow, who was driving a Spyder RS-S three-wheeler, according to Ming Pao Daily.

The accident occurred near Kowloon Park in Tsim Sha Tsui on Sunday morning.

A motorcycle expert said Tang might have made a tight turn and lost balance, making it difficult to control the vehicle.

The four-year-old R1200 motorcycle sprang a leak and was hauled away for checks.
