A Chinese tour guide was arrested in Fukuoka prefecture, Japan for allegedly assaulting police officers.
Police said the 48-year-old man, surnamed Wang, led a group of about 30 Chinese tourists to a restaurant in Shimemachi near Fukuoka city for all-you-can-eat meals on Sunday, Kyodo News reported.
Wang continued ordering for food even after the dining period was over, and when a restaurant employee refused to take his orders, a quarrel ensued, the report said.
Staff called the police, and when they arrived, Wang reportedly beat two officers at the parking lot outside the restaurant, and even bit the arm of one officer.
Wang was charged with obstructing police officers acting in the execution of their duty. He denied the charge.
