Following the release of its HomePod speakers last Friday, Apple has also posted relevant tutorials on its social media channel to enhance user experience.
The tech giant updated its support channel on YouTube on the same day that it launched the HomePod smart speakers on the market, coming up with three short videos on the product, according to MacRumors, a website focusing on Apple news and rumors.
Each of the videos is a minute-long tutorial on the latest Apple product: how to use Siri to play music on HomePod, how to use touch controls on HomePod, and how to adjust HomePod settings.
The first tutorial says you can ask Siri to play songs of different genres or from different playlists. The volume can be controlled by telling it to get louder or play at a specific percentage. You can also tell it to go forward or return to a track, according to The Verge.
In the second video, the user can tap the top of the HomePod to play or pause a song. A double-tap will make it skip to the next song while a triple-tap will make it return to the previous one. The volume is also controlled by plus and minus signs. Touching and then holding the top of the HomePod will bring up Siri without having to say “Hey Siri”.
To adjust the HomePod settings, you can open the Home App on the iPhone, where you can change the position of the speaker is located and the account to which it is linked.
You can also switch on or off offensive content. To reset the smart speaker, you can simply remove the accessory and set it up again with another iOS device.
