A dozen partner companies and “incubatees” of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) brought home 15 awards from this year’s International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, the world’s most prestigious innovation show.

The awards include the Prize of the Romanian Delegation, three Gold Medals with Congratulations of the Jury, six Gold Medals and five Silver Medals, the Hong Kong Economic Journal reports.

The exhibition was held from April 11 to 15 under the auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organization of the Swiss government and the city of Geneva.

The show, its 46th edition, attracted more than 1,000 inventions from more than 40 countries and regions.

3D visualization tech company Marvel Digital Limited, an HKSTP partner company, garnered the Prize of the Romanian Delegation, a Gold Medal and a Silver Medal for two of its products on exhibit.

The award-winning products are a cloud-based imaging solution called Memto Live Picture Frame, which produces naked-eye 3D images in clear, 4K ultra-high definition, and the Advanced Image Rendering Algorithms for Autostereoscopic 3D Display.

The inventions that bagged the three Gold Medals with Congratulations of the Jury came from BrainNow Medical Technology Limited, Neosen Energy HK Limited and TFS Global Company Limited.

The companies that won Gold Medals include Antwave Technology Limited, Film Players Limited, Marvoto Technology (Hong Kong) Limited, Pacific Telecom & Navigation Limited and Sucabot MedTech International Limited.

The Silver Medal winners are BeeInventor Limited, Koln 3D Technology (Medical) Limited, MoNi Studio Interactive Interior Design Ltd and Pacific Telecom & Navigation Limited.

HKSTP chief executive Albert Wong congratulated the winning companies, saying HKSTP is glad to have played a role in helping partner companies and startups to pursue their research and development.

Wong said HKSTP will continue to support its partner companies and startups so they could transform their ideas into successful products.
