Artificial intelligence startup AnyMind Group announced Monday that it has completed a B round funding of US$13.4 million. Participants included LINE Corp, SPARX Group and Mirai Creation Fund, a fund backed by Toyota and Mitsui Bank, the Hong Kong Economic Journal reports.
JAFCO Asia and Dream Incubator, which participated in the company’s A funding round last year, also took part this time.
AnyMind has a number of major subsidiaries, each specializing in different fields. TalentMind, for instance, is a recruitment management platform that has more than 150 corporate members in Asia.
Another unit is CastingAsia, which matches brand owners and key opinion leaders to serve marketing needs.
The Singapore-based startup is present in 11 markets. It has more than 300 staff and runs 13 offices worldwide.
In particular, the firm plans to boost its product development activities in Bangkok and Tokyo offices going forward.
