香港芭蕾舞團《綠野仙蹤》亞洲首演
新舞季又揭幕，這次香港芭蕾舞團以亞洲首演的《綠野仙蹤》打頭陣，由藝術總監衛承天改編的新劇目，採用全息影像技術及臉部動作捕捉等技術，活現童話的奇幻世界，新穎的沉浸式舞台效果，令舞劇更加精采難忘。
衛承天改編的《綠野仙蹤》將經典童話與現代風格共冶一爐，將耳熟能詳的故事元素注入創新活力。在一場猛烈的龍捲風過後，觀眾將跟隨桃樂絲、稻草人、鐵皮人及膽小獅踏上黃磚路，出發到翡翠城尋找奧兹大王，戰勝壞女巫。稻草人和膽小獅分別以龐克搖滾和70年代放克搖滾風格的造型亮相，為舞台增添戲劇性和吸引力，朝氣蓬勃的八位「黃磚路男團」舞者則以混合K-pop男團風格的狂熱舞步呈現黃磚路，還有Disco舞廳般華麗閃爍的翡翠城、性感的壞女巫，將令觀眾看得目不暇給。不能錯過的場景還包括異國情調的罌粟田舞蹈，以及男舞者結合木偶表演的飛猴大軍，定必讓各位童心未泯的觀眾看得樂而忘返。
《綠野仙蹤》一舉獲得有「芭蕾奧斯卡」之稱的貝諾瓦芭蕾舞大獎三項提名（最佳芭蕾舞作、最佳佈景/服裝設計及最佳原創音樂），更獲得國際藝術評論權威媒體Bachtrack給予五星讚譽。舞劇情節鬥智鬥勇，引人入勝，更有頂尖服裝設計團隊包辦華美舞服，以及香港管弦樂團現場演奏小提琴家馬修．皮爾斯譜寫的原創音樂。
AIRSIDE及香港文化中心的藝術科技展覽
舞台以外，港芭將帶來兩個別出心裁的藝術科技展覽，包括即日起至9月4日於AIRSIDE舉辦的《綠野仙蹤．人生歷奇》沉浸式芭蕾藝術科技體驗，以MR混合實境、VR虛擬實境技及霓虹燈藝術裝置，建構疑幻似真的童話故事世界。8月16日至9月1日假香港文化中心大堂舉辦的「藝術×科技結合的翡翠城」，參加者將以特製的眼鏡在全綠色的翡翠城中追蹤舞者的身影，並在AR舞台上與一眾演出者大合照完成奇幻之旅。
